At Ocean Community they understand that the world needs sustainable and commercially viable solutions to resolve ocean challenges. Their mission is to encourage, capture and transform early stage ideas into leads that attract relevant accelerators and investors. OC enables the design and launch of solutions benefiting preservation of our oceans and sustainable utilization of ocean resources and development of ocean communities.
Challenge & solution
As an active member of the OC core team, I was part of the design meetings, where we set up our strategy, defined business models and developed our brand identity.
Colors represent the areas that OC covers (blue-tech, academic and entrepreneurship) and logotype instantly reminds the user that the organization is connected with the ocean.
Website is tech oriented, minimalistic, professional and photo oriented. The structure is following the trends that the “challenge” and “start-up” type of the websites set. We already conducted the 2020 challenge and are actively working on 2021.
As creative director I’m responsible for communicating the consistent visual language of the brand on all platforms and for the website updates. I’m always collaborating with the PR and marketing section, designing promotional material.
